EV LLC has been granted nearly $600,000 for the development of an electric vehicle charging station in Lawrence County. The station is set to be located at New Prospect Market on Pulaski Highway. This initiative is part of the Tennessee Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan, which aims to construct 31 charging stations along the state’s two-digit interstate highways and U.S. 64. The total cost for the local station’s construction is estimated to be $855,530.
