A severe thunderstorm wreaked havoc on a revival tent located on County Farm Road, just south of Ethridge, leading to injuries for two individuals and necessitating the removal of one person from the scene. The incident occurred around 4:30 PM on Tuesday, although the revival activities had not yet commenced at that time. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were considered to be minor.
Prior to this event, the storm had already caused significant disruption in the area, including the downing of trees near Hickory Street off Fall River, which resulted in damage to electrical lines. Additionally, a tree fell near the Crossroads Market on Fall River Road, creating an obstruction for traffic. Reports also indicated damage to a nearby roof, further illustrating the storm’s impact on the local community.
