Alice Faye Butcher Bee, 77, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on May 10th, 2025, at NHC Pulaski, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 9th, 1948, Faye was known for her warm heart, strong work ethic, and love for cooking. She dedicated many years to serving her community as a restaurant owner and cook, always greeting patrons with a smile and a homemade meal.
Faye is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer (David) Pogue of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and her grandchildren, Haley Pogue, Vanessa Dickey, CJ Dickey, and Elizabeth Pogue. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Long of Athens, Alabama, Nettie (JB) Higgins, Linda (James) Hollingsworth, Frances (Fagan) King, and Renee (John) Stoltzfus, her brother, Tommy (Shirl) Butcher, and her aunt, Sadie Butcher, all of Pulaski, Tennessee. Additionally, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends mourn her passing.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Bee, her parents, Mitchell James and Fannie Mae Hedgecoth Butcher, her brother, Kenneth Butcher, and her sisters, Wanda Griggs, Sharon Clifton, and Margaret Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, with the funeral service following on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at 3:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. The burial will take place in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
