Andrew L. Stewart, 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on May 27th, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Columbia, TN. Born on June 27th, 1938, in Columbia, TN, Andy proudly served in the United States Army and later owned a successful plumbing business. He enjoyed gospel singings, leading prayer, and attending church, and was a devoted Christian. Andy is survived by his daughter, Nora Grimes, granddaughter Anissa Rose Grimes, and Ziva Claire Griems. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Stewart, and is also survived by sisters-in-law Glenda Goins and Starlene Buie. The family extends warm gratitude to all who provided love and care during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midway Church of Christ or Graymere Church of Christ. Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on June 1st, 2025, with the funeral service and interment to follow. Pallbearers will be Greg Buie, Brian Long, Barry Long, Brad Long, Brent Long, Jerry Kirk, and Larry McAnally. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to be handling all final arrangements.
