The Lawrence County Senior Center is gearing up for a month focused on physical wellness this April. A variety of activities have been lined up to promote exercise and overall health for the seniors in the community.
Starting off the week on Mondays, seniors can participate in Chair Yoga at 10 AM followed by Beginner Line Dancing at 11 AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays will feature the “Stay Strong Stay Healthy” program, which includes small weight exercises at 9 AM. Wrapping up the week on Wednesdays and Fridays, seniors can join the Advanced Line Dancing classes at 10 AM.
For those interested in participating or wanting more information, they can reach out to the Lawrence County Senior Center at 931-762-9259. It’s a great opportunity for seniors to stay active and prioritize their physical well-being.
