In a joint announcement today, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, along with Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter, revealed that Armada Nutrition LLC is set to undergo a significant expansion in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The company has committed to investing $5 million in the production facility, a move that is expected to generate employment opportunities with the creation of 50 new jobs in Maury County. This expansion comes in response to the growing demand for nutraceuticals, a market segment in which Armada Nutrition is a key player.
Armada Nutrition LLC, a subsidiary of Japan-based Nagase & Co., Ltd., specializes in the manufacturing of top-tier nutritional powders for both national and global nutrition brands. Currently, the company’s operations are centralized in Spring Hill, where it undertakes the development, processing, and packaging of its multi-ingredient powder solutions.
The decision to expand in Spring Hill underscores the region’s attractiveness for businesses seeking to grow and thrive. Over the past year, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) has actively supported close to 15 economic development projects in Maury County alone. These initiatives have collectively led to the commitment of around 3,400 jobs and an impressive $4.8 billion in capital investment in the area.
The investment by Armada Nutrition LLC not only signifies the company’s confidence in the local workforce and business environment but also highlights the region’s position as a hub for innovation and growth in the nutraceutical industry. With this expansion, Maury County is poised to further solidify its standing as a key player in the economic landscape of Tennessee.
