In Lawrence County, a convicted felon was apprehended on Thursday night for being in possession of a loaded firearm. The incident unfolded at around 7:45 PM when a deputy from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office came across a car obstructing the road at the intersection of College Avenue and Taylor Street. Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy detected a strong smell of marijuana. Subsequently, a small quantity of marijuana was discovered, leading to the issuance of a citation to the individual. Additionally, the man was found to have a loaded gun in his possession and was consequently taken into custody. The individual, identified as Quandrick Reynold, now faces charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
