Local authorities are currently seeking information regarding a recent vehicle arson incident. The incident occurred on January 27th at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the parking lot of the Lawrenceburg Walmart near the Murphy gas pumps. A white SUV was observed pulling up to the vehicle and then hastily leaving the scene. Individuals with any relevant information are urged to reach out to the Lawrenceburg Fire Department at 931-762-9046 or the Lawrenceburg Police Department at (931) 762-2276. Additionally, a cash reward may be available for information that leads to an arrest or conviction, which can be obtained through the TN Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017. The Arson Hotline serves as a dedicated phone line for receiving information about suspicious and incendiary fires, and it operates 24 hours a day while allowing individuals to remain anonymous when providing information.
