Barbara B. Higdon, 71, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at her residence. She was a retired Timekeeper with Murray Ohio and had a passion for reading and animals. Barbara was a native of Wayne County, TN, and was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Eugene and Nevada Pearl Beatty Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Higdon; one step-son, Wade Higdon; two step-grandsons, Eric Higdon and Chris Higdon; one sister, Beverly Philpot (Cliff); three nieces, Star King (Bronson), Ann Paley, and Cynthia Anne Brown; three great-nieces, Brianna Snider, Kaylee Vanetten (Tony), and Kinley King; and one great-nephew, Clay Hardy.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM, conducted by Kent McDowell.
