Barbara Jane Peppers Jennings, a cherished member of the Lawrenceburg community, passed away on December 2, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on August 27, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Barbara’s life was one of dedication to her family, faith, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Margie Swafford Peppers; her husband, William Lee Jennings; her sons, Timothy and Mark Jennings; and her brother, Don Peppers. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Bradbary, and her son, Jason Jennings, and daughter-in-law, Karibeth, all of Lawrenceburg. Her grandchildren, Brandon Bradbary, Jarrod Bradbary (Brandy), Mallory Nave (David), Wesley Jennings (Brittney), and Justin Bradbary, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren, will carry on her legacy. Her sister, Janette Flowers, will hold dear the memories of their shared laughter and love.
Barbara’s professional life was as vibrant as her personal life. As the owner of Vulco Auto Supply, she was known for her keen business sense and tireless work ethic. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her business, as she was a dedicated member of the Ethridge First Baptist Church and served with joy as a faithful member of the Noah’s Ark Ministry.
Barbara’s love for cooking and gardening brought joy to those around her. Her generous spirit was evident in her love for canning and sharing the bounty of her garden with others. Her influence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends on December 4, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home on December 5, 2025, with interment to follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to God’s Storehouse.
Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and community. May she rest in peace.
