Betty Charline Boston Alexander, 97, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on October 4, 2025, at her home. Born in Florence, AL, Betty was a devoted member of the First Street Church of Christ and later the College Place Church of Christ. She was known for her love of God and her family, and for her kind and giving nature. Betty was a talented seamstress, using her skills to create gifts for nursing home residents and baby blankets for loved ones. Alongside her husband, Carl, she cultivated beautiful roses that they generously shared with friends, family, and the Lawrenceburg community.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, G.V. Boston and Christine Darmer Boston, her husband, Carl Donald Alexander, Sr., and her brothers, George Edward Boston and William E. (Bill) Boston. She is survived by her three children, Carl Donald Alexander, Jr., Jan Ellen Alexander Meek, and Jack Douglas Alexander, as well as her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home on October 7, 2025, with funeral services and interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
