Betty Jean Cox, 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation. Betty was a beloved homemaker and a native of Lawrence County, TN. She had a passion for dancing and adored Elvis. Betty also had a deep love for dogs and cats, and enjoyed watching her family participate in sporting events.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Eldora Miller Williams, and her brother, Roy Williams. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul Cox; her daughter, Gina Gray; her granddaughter, Breyanna Postol; and her brother, James Williams.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on the same day, with Chad Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
