Betty Leone (Hayes) Pavy, born on July 1, 1943, in Switzerland County, Indiana, passed away on February 26, 2025, in Lawrence County, Tennessee. Betty was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Bucky and a loving mother to her five sons: Gary, Gregory, Glenn, Galen, and Grant. She was also a cherished Mammaw to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty’s life was marked by her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which she shared with everyone she encountered. She was a founding member of Sonset Fellowship in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where she served faithfully and was honored for her dedication to the church.
She will be deeply missed by her family, including her brothers, nephews, and nieces, as well as the countless individuals whose lives she touched with her kindness and love. Betty’s legacy of grace, beauty, and faith will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A visitation and funeral service will be held to honor Betty’s life and legacy. The family will receive friends at Sonset Fellowship Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted at both locations, with interment to follow at Vevay Cemetery in Vevay, Indiana.
Betty’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who follow in her footsteps.
