Upon their arrival, firefighters encountered both smoke and flames emanating from the vicinity of an iron ore furnace. The incident involved not only molten iron ore but also hydraulic fluid, complicating the situation.
Fire personnel quickly took action to contain and extinguish the blaze, utilizing fire extinguishers and sand to bring the fire under control. Their efforts were successful, and the fire was officially contained by 7:40 PM. However, the furnace sustained significant damage, particularly to its hydraulic lines, which will require extensive repairs.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to this incident.
