In a recent development, St. Joseph’s officials have given the green light to the budget ordinance for the fiscal year 2024-25 during its initial reading. The approved budget encompasses an overall expenditure of close to $729,000 across various departments, encompassing the crucial State Street Aid Fund. To further deliberate on this matter, a special session of the Board of Commissioners has been slated to take place at St. Joseph City Hall at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, where the ordinance will be up for discussion and potential approval in its second and final reading.
