Several businesses and government entities have declared that they will be closed to mark the Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4. Among those shutting down are federal offices, state offices, and the postal service. Additionally, the municipalities of Ethridge, Lawrenceburg, Loretto, and St. Joseph will be closed, along with the Lawrence County government and the Lawrence County landfill.
