Carolyn Clark Cobb, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at home after an extended illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, and Nana who enjoyed traveling with her family, attending church, cattle farming, and deer hunting. Carolyn was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. Her favorite vacation spot was Yellowstone National Park, where she loved the beautiful scenery and opportunities to view wildlife.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Cobb of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters Sherri Cobb Craig (John) and Jenni Cobb, both of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Sandi Cobb Lyons (Mike) of Center, TN; sister Linda Cowart of Carrollton, GA; 4 grandchildren: Brittany Byrd, Austin Whitehead, Anna Whitehead, and Lawson Lyons; 3 great-grandchildren: A J Byrd, Benett Byrd, and Bonnie Byrd; and several nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Orus and Iva Lee Clark.
Funeral services will be held at Gum Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Chad Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Gum Springs Baptist Church.
