Charles Clayton Clark, Sr. Obituary

Charles C. Clark, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1943, in Mercer, PA, and graduated from Lakeview High School in Stoneboro, PA in 1962. Mr. Clark began his career with Pennsylvania Power Co. in June of 1966 and later worked for the University of Florida and Florida Power Corp. of St. Petersburg. He retired from Progress Energy in October 2005 after a 39-year career in the Transmission Design and Standards Dept.

Mr. Clark enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and traveling, including a memorable trip to Maui, HI with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Tonya and LaVonne, and son, Paul, as well as thirteen grandchildren and two sisters, Carolle and Shirley, both of Orlando.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilian; parents Paul and Vera Clark; and infant son, Charles, Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
