Charles “Pedro” King, 83, of Iron City, TN, passed away on April 3, 2025, at home after an extended illness. He was born and raised in Florence, AL, and graduated from the University of North Alabama in accounting. He married Shirley Kelley King and they raised their two daughters in Haleyville, AL, before relocating to Iron City, TN, where he spent the last 40 years. Charles worked as a corporate accountant, a real estate agent, and retired from Murray Ohio. He most recently found joy in day-trading and was an avid numismatist. He will be remembered for his love of spending time with his beloved cousins. Charles is survived by his daughter, sister, son-in-law, five grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, and parents. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Loretto Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
