Closures for Labor Day 2025

As Labor Day approaches on Monday, September 1, 2025, various government offices and services have announced their closures and adjustments to regular schedules. In Lawrenceburg, city offices will not be open in recognition of the holiday. Residents should be aware that the usual residential garbage collection will be shifted to Thursday, September 4, necessitating that garbage carts be placed out early for the morning pickup, as this day will feature a double route.

In addition, Lawrence County Government offices, including the Solid Waste Transfer Station, will also be closed in observance of Labor Day. Similarly, Lawrenceburg Utility Systems will not operate on Monday, September 1.

The City of Pulaski will see its City Hall offices closed for the holiday as well. Giles County Government offices will follow suit, closing their doors on Monday in honor of Labor Day. Lastly, the Pulaski Electric System will also be closed on this day. Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly as these closures will affect various services throughout the region.
