Residents are advised that all government offices at the federal, state, and local levels will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. In addition, the Lawrence County Solid Waste facility will also be closed for the day.
In a related announcement, the City of Lawrenceburg has informed residents that the garbage collection scheduled for Monday will instead take place on Thursday. Residents are encouraged to place their carts out early, as this will be a double route day. Meanwhile, the City of Loretto has rescheduled its garbage pickup originally set for Monday to Wednesday.
