In Marshall County, the South Central Human Resource Agency is set to host a USDA Commodities distribution event on Thursday, May 16. This initiative is aimed at assisting eligible area residents, including those who receive benefits from SNAP, Families First, or the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Alternatively, individuals can also participate by presenting proof of residence in public housing. The distribution is scheduled to take place from 9:00 to 10:30 at the Greater First Baptist Church, situated at 512 Sixth Avenue North in Lewisburg. This effort aims to provide essential support to those in need within the community.
