During their meeting on Tuesday, the Lawrence County Commissioners honored the Loretto High School Baseball team and its coaching staff for their remarkable achievement in winning the TSSAA State Championship at Middle Tennessee State University. The team concluded their season with an impressive overall record of 30 wins and 6 losses, showcasing their prowess with a strong 7-1 performance in regular season district play. Their journey culminated in a flawless run through the state championship, where they emerged victorious in all four of their games. The highlight of their success came with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Huntingdon, securing the Class Double-A state title.
