David Daniel, 77, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on August 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born to the late B.C. and Rachel Daniel, David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56+ years, Shela Daniel; two sons, Matthew (Jill) Daniel and John (Hollie) Daniel; one brother, Larry “Pete” (Linda) Daniel; and his beloved grandchildren, Ellie, Andrew, Will, and Noah. David was a lifelong educator and respected school principal, dedicating his life to education and touching generations in his community. He was a man of faith, a lover of travel, fishing, and BBQ, and a passionate supporter of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. A member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, David taught Sunday School for 55 years and served faithfully as an ordained Baptist deacon. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund is suggested. David Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
