David Paul Bennett, age 62, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on December 29, 2025. He was born on August 10, 1963, and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. David was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Paul Bennett and Mary Sue Tidwell.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Terrie Bennett, and their three children, Cassondra Clayton (Wes), Phillip Bennett (Amanda), and Jazmine McGee. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Chanceton Bennett, Jaxon Clayton, Carter Bennett, and Canon Bennett, who will miss him dearly.
David was a cherished brother to his seven siblings, Marshall Dial, Linda Collier, Tammy Butler, Wendy McGee, Anthony McGee, Sharon Burlison, and Karen Tucker. He was known for his strong work ethic as a dedicated fork lift operator at Living Stone Freight and was a valued member of his church community at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
His love for sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Vols, was well-known, and he enjoyed sharing this passion with friends and family. David’s life was a testament to the enduring bonds of family and the simple joys that come from a life well-lived.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and the funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home on January 3, 2026, with interment to follow at Woodward Family Cemetery in Leoma, TN. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
