The qualifying period for the upcoming elections in Saint Joseph and Ethridge has recently concluded. In Saint Joseph, incumbent Beverly White emerged as the only candidate to qualify for a position on the city’s governing board. As a result, she will run unopposed in her quest for re-election, ensuring her continued presence on the board.
Meanwhile, in Ethridge, the election landscape is slightly more competitive. Incumbent Dallas Luna has officially qualified to seek another term, joining fellow candidate Robin Cobb, who has also entered the race. Voters in both municipalities will cast their ballots during the general election scheduled for November 5, which will coincide with state and federal elections.
