WITH HEAVY HEARTS, WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF DEANNA MARIA HAGAN THIGPEN, AGE 49, OF LAWRENCEBURG, TN ON TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2024, AT HER HOME. SHE WAS A NATIVE OF LAWRENCE COUNTY, TN, AND A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF PULASKI STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST. SHE WAS A GRADUATE OF MTSU WITH SUMMA CUM LAUDE HONORS; AND A SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT WITH TENNESSEE FARM BUREAU. DEANNA LOVED HER FAMILY DEARLY AND WAS ALWAYS INVOLVED AND THINKING OF THEM FIRST. SHE LOVED MAKING HOME CRAFTS FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE.
SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS, PARIS AND MYRTLE HAGAN; AND MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS, WILLIAM CLAUDE AND ORENE P. GRIMSLEY.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND OF 20 YEARS, CLINT THIGPEN OF LAWRENCEBURG, TN; FOUR CHILDREN, MASHEA DUKE (JASE) OF LAWRENCEBURG, TN, KALEB JEANS OF MURFREESBORO, TN, CJ THIGPEN OF LAWRENCEBURG, TN, AND GAGE THIGPEN OF LAWRENCEBURG, TN; HER PARENTS, BILLY AND BARBARA HAGAN OF LEOMA, TN; ONE BROTHER, BILLY “BJ” HAGAN, JR. (DIANNA) OF ST. JOSEPH, TN; TWO GRANDCHILDREN, MIYA KATE DUKE AND COHEN DUKE; NIECES AND NEPHEWS, NICK HAGAN (MAKALIA), DESTINY LUNA (WILL), HAILEY GROGAN (KYLE), CADEN HAGAN, AND CAMERON HAGAN; AND TWO GREAT-NEPHEWS.

THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 12:00 PM TO 3:00 PM FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024, AT NEAL FUNERAL HOME. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED AT NEAL FUNERAL HOME AT 3:00 PM FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024, WITH JACOB EVANS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW AT LAWRENCE COUNTY MEMORIAL GARDENS IN LAWRENCEBURG, TN.
