On Thursday, March 27th, the Lawrence County School System Board convened for its Regular Session at 5:00 PM in the Central Office. Prior to this meeting, the Board of Education engaged in a retreat aimed at exploring long-term objectives, strategic planning, and the capacity to address both current and future challenges. During this session, the Board reviewed preliminary findings from the MGT Study, which will inform their decisions over the next decade. A significant focus of the discussion was on how to effectively manage anticipated enrollment increases, a reflection of the growing population in Lawrence County. Looking ahead, the next Regular Session is scheduled for Thursday, April 17th, at 4:00 PM.
