Donald Ray Haislip, 61, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 2nd, 2026. He was born on October 8th, 1964, in Ripley, TN, to the late Thomas Jefferson Haislip and Blanche Viola Haislip. Donald worked for Coca-Cola in Memphis, TN, before retiring in the early 2000s. He enjoyed civil war reenactments, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Somerville, TN. Donald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rita Haislip; son, William Haislip; brother, Bobby Davis; niece, Diana Sorrell; nephew, Daniel Russell; adopted grandchildren, Ashton Hix and Aiden Hix; and beloved canine companions, Rusty and Kisses. The graveside service will be held at Gum Springs Cemetery on January 7th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Brother Chad Clanton. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
