On Friday, law enforcement officials from the Loretto Police Department, in collaboration with the St. Joseph Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence situated at 112 North Main Street. The operation led to the discovery of a significant quantity of illegal substances, including more than half an ounce of heroin, one gram of methamphetamine, and one gram of fentanyl. Additionally, officers found five grams of marijuana, a syringe containing heroin, and various items associated with drug use.
As a result of the findings during the search, warrants were issued for Nikki Lovell. The charges against her include possession of a Schedule I substance with intent to resell, possession of Schedule II methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II fentanyl, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. This incident underscores ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug-related activities in the community.
