On Saturday, emergency responders were summoned to a Walmart parking lot following an accidental shooting incident. A male individual inadvertently discharged his firearm while trying to secure it in its holster, resulting in a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg. The Lawrence County Emergency Medical Service promptly arrived on the scene and transported him for necessary medical care.
