Ethridge Officials Greenlight New Essential Policy for Ballpark

In a recent meeting held on Monday, the leaders of Ethridge took significant steps to enhance security measures at the city’s ballpark by implementing a new key management system. This initiative aims to curb the rising incidents of theft and vandalism that have plagued the facility.

As part of this new approach, the number of locks at the ballpark has been streamlined from five down to a single lock. This simplification is intended to make access more manageable while simultaneously tightening security. Coaches and individuals who require entry to the park will now be asked to pay a deposit of $100 for the duration of the season.

At the conclusion of the ball season, those who have been issued keys can return them to reclaim their deposit. However, it is important to note that if a key is lost, the deposit will not be refunded. This new policy reflects the city’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the ballpark while ensuring that it remains accessible to those who need it.
