During its regular meeting on May 2nd, 2025, the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club took the opportunity to celebrate remarkable student leaders and scholarship recipients from across Lawrence County. This event highlighted the academic achievements, leadership qualities, and community service of students from various high schools within the county.
Among those honored were students from Lawrence County High School, including Timothy Allen and Ashlynn Sublett. Loretto High School was represented by Kylie Barnett and Mia Wright, while Summertown High School’s honorees were Maggie Hay and Taylor Neal. Each of these students was recognized for their dedication to excellence in their studies and their contributions to their respective schools.
In addition to recognizing individual students, the Rotary Club presented several prestigious scholarships and awards. The Excellence Scholarship, a significant accolade, was awarded to Isabella McDonald for her outstanding achievements. The Legacy Award, which honors a student who embodies the core values of the Rotary mission, was given to Jayce Hughes.
Furthermore, Fellowship Awards were presented to Jayden Fisher and Willowmae Nyman, acknowledging their efforts in fostering community spirit and goodwill. The Service Awards, which recognize exceptional contributions to both school and community life, were awarded to a group of students: Emmy Perry, William Poston, Noah Cody, Finley Boston, Reagan Wisdom, and Victoria Jacobs.
