February is designated as Insurance Careers Month, a time when Team TDCI takes the opportunity to recognize the countless dedicated insurance professionals across Tennessee. These individuals play a crucial role in their communities, especially in the rural regions of the state. TDCI Commissioner Carter Lawrence emphasizes the importance of these professionals, stating, “These invaluable professionals are doing vital work for our state’s economy and the livelihoods of our citizens.”
Currently, Tennessee boasts the highest number of active licensed insurance professionals in its history, with a remarkable total exceeding 301,000 licensed insurance producers. This figure includes 51,986 resident insurance producer licenses and an impressive 249,961 non-resident licenses. The contributions of these professionals are essential not only for the economy but also for the well-being of individuals and families throughout the state.
