On Monday, emergency responders from the Maury County Fire Department were dispatched to a dramatic car accident on Theta Pike. Upon their arrival, they discovered a vehicle precariously balanced on the brink of a steep embankment, held in position by the roots of a small tree.
Firefighters quickly assessed the situation and employed a winch to stabilize the car, ensuring it would not tumble down the slope. Meanwhile, they worked diligently to evacuate the occupant from the vehicle. Fortunately, the individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was subsequently transported to a medical facility for further evaluation and care.
