On Wednesday, the Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded swiftly to a kitchen fire at a residence located on Old Florence Road, successfully averting a potential disaster that could have resulted in the complete loss of the home. Upon their arrival, firefighters observed visible smoke emanating from the property, prompting them to take immediate action.
Upon entering the home, they discovered that food left unattended on the stove had ignited, leading to the fire. Thanks to their prompt response, the firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before they could spread to other areas of the house. Although the kitchen suffered significant damage due to the fire, it is fortunate that no injuries were reported during the incident.
