Florence Unveils 2025 Initiative to Enhance City Roadways

City officials in Florence have officially unveiled the 2025 Paving Program, which is set to commence shortly on numerous streets throughout the area. The project will be executed by contracted teams from Rogers Group, with the primary goal of improving driving conditions and ensuring a safer, smoother travel experience for all residents.

As the work progresses, city officials are asking residents to exercise patience and remain vigilant regarding the presence of construction workers and any temporary traffic changes in the impacted zones.

The following streets have been earmarked for resurfacing as part of the 2025 initiative:

– Malone Circle – from Imperial to the Cul de Sac
– Louise Street – from Matthews to Burleson
– Terrace St. – from Veterans to Sycamore (noted twice)
– Old Cloverdale Rd. – from Wood to Norwood
– Conway St. – from Darby to Wellington
– Bellemeade Ave. – from Royal Ave to Howell
– New Haven Ct. – from Newport to the Dead End
– Deer Point Ln. – from Indian Springs Dr. to the Cul de Sac
– Veterans Dr. – from the railroad track to Joint
– Woodard Ave. – from Huntsville to Marietta
– Kensington – from Heathrow Dr. to Charring Crossing
– Helton Dr. – from Rose to Roberson
– Helton Dr. – from Roberson to Kendall
– Wood Ave. – from Lelia to 150 feet north
