Barry Don Kelley, a respected figure in the Lawrenceburg community and former Fire Chief, has sadly passed away at the age of 65 on March 23. His life was marked by a steadfast commitment to public service, dedicating 36 years to the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, where he ultimately rose to the rank of Chief. In addition to his role in the fire department, Kelley shared his expertise as an instructor at the Tennessee State Fire Academy, contributing to the training of future firefighters. His legacy of service and dedication will be remembered by many in the community he devoted his life to protecting.
