Gail Brock Denson Graves, age 90, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Gail was born in Lawrenceburg, TN, and spent her life dedicated to her family and community. She was a devoted homemaker for 20 years before joining her husband and sons in the family business, Home Town Decorating in Hopkinsville, KY. Gail was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and was actively involved in various organizations, including Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years, the Red Hat Society, and the United Methodist Women.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel Roosevelt and Calera Brock Denson, her husband, Bill Graves, two sons, Joe Graves and Brett Graves, and one daughter, Lea Carol Graves Gabel. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Bishop (Brad) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; daughters-in-law, Karen Graves of Hopkinsville, KY, and Peggy Graves of Clarksville, TN; son-in-law, Richard Gabel of Denver, CO; grandchildren, B. J. Graves, Scott Michael Graves (Karleigh), Kayleigh Graves, and Karalynn Graves; great-grandchildren, Bretleigh Graves, Piper Graves, and Eliza Graves; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN, followed by funeral services and interment at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
