On February 12, 2025, a collaborative effort involving the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security, and the Pulaski Police Department culminated in the execution of a search warrant on Sunset Drive in Pulaski. This operation was part of an ongoing investigation into the sexual exploitation of a minor, aimed at gathering crucial evidence related to the case.
During the search, authorities seized a variety of electronic devices and storage media, which are expected to play a significant role in the investigation. As a result of the operation, 40-year-old Tyler Palma Petty was arrested and subsequently charged with three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, along with one count of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
This investigation remains active, and law enforcement officials anticipate that additional charges may be forthcoming as they continue to delve deeper into the case.
