On Friday, several establishments will be shuttered in recognition of the Good Friday holiday. In Lawrence County, both Federal and State offices will not be operational. Additionally, the local government offices will also be closed, along with the Lawrence County Public Library and the Lawrence County Solid Waste facility.
The municipalities of Ethridge, Loretto, Saint Joseph, and Lawrenceburg will follow suit, with their offices remaining closed for the day. Residents of Lawrenceburg are advised that the usual residential garbage cart collection scheduled for Friday will instead take place on Thursday. The city encourages all residents to place their carts at the curb early, as this will be a double route day for garbage collection.
