Grover McKinley Cleveland, age 81, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at NHC Brink after an extended illness. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and was known for his roles as a supervisor, truck driver, and farmer. Grover was a devoted member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Troy Cleveland (Sabra) of Loretto, TN, his daughter, Tracy Cleveland Staggs of Loretto, TN, and his brother, Hubert Cleveland of Loretto, TN. Grover also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Newton Cleveland, his parents, Joe and Vera Adair Cleveland, his brother, Paul Cleveland, and his step-siblings, Audie and Ray Cleveland, Alice Luffman, Mary Annie Vanderford, Maggie Flatt, and Lottie Mae Marston.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
Grover will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community. May he rest in peace.
