Hattie Joyce Birdsong Dyer, 84, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 29, 1940, to Joe U. and Lessie Pope. Joyce retired from Holley’s printing and was a dedicated member of Shores Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 37 years, Jim Dyer, sisters Betty Lou Pope, Mary Ellen Pope, and brothers Billy and Bobby Pope.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 1pm. Interment will take place in Bethesda Cemetery.
Joyce is survived by her children Mary Jo (Wayne) Adams, Deanna (Jimmy) Garrett, grandchildren Leigh Ann (Cody) Wilburn, Bryan (Dee) Glover, Trey (Bayleigh) Garrett, Tyler (Natalie) Garrett, Nick (Brittany) Adams, great-grandchildren Madison (Chase) Lay, Alyssa Wilburn, Braxton Glover, Austin King, Carsen Stapish, Jackson Garrett, Caroline Adams, Marshall Adams, siblings Terry Pope, Tommy Pope, and special niece Kim Taylor.
Joyce will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in their hearts. May she rest in peace.
