Howard Ray Phillips, 84, of Anderson, AL, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home after a sudden illness. Howard was a retired Electrician with Federal Mogel Manufacturing and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was a native of Lauderdale Co, AL.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Jimmy Lee Phillips and Aric Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Howard is survived by his wife, Glenda Green Phillips of Anderson, AL; son, Mike Phillips (Ellen) of Athens, AL; daughters, Ronda Garner (David) of Lexington, AL, and Andrea Butler (Aric) of Killen, AL; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver “Pete” & Ony Lee Howard Phillips, and his brother, J.C. Phillips.
Howard will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his work, and his faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
