Howard Ray Phillips, 84, of Anderson, AL, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home after a sudden illness. Howard was a retired Electrician with Federal Mogel Manufacturing and a devoted member of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was a native of Lauderdale Co, AL.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Jimmy Lee Phillips and Aric Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Green Phillips of Anderson, AL; his son, Mike Phillips (Ellen) of Athens, AL; and his daughters, Ronda Garner (David) of Lexington, AL, and Andrea Butler (Aric) of Killen, AL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver “Pete” and Ony Lee Howard Phillips, and his brother, J.C. Phillips.
Howard will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
