Authorities in Huntsville have apprehended a man in connection with the alleged rape, drugging, and trafficking of a 14-year-old girl. The incident unfolded on Monday morning around 11:00 AM when police responded to a report regarding a potential runaway at a motel located in the 3700 block of University Drive. Upon arrival, officers encountered 35-year-old James Randall Bolden, who was found in the company of the minor.

During the investigation, law enforcement discovered two firearms, along with over 175 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and various drug-related paraphernalia in Bolden’s possession. The Special Victims Unit, along with Community Relations Officers and the Anti-Crime Team, determined that Bolden had been supplying the victim with drugs and engaging in sexual acts with her. Following his arrest, Bolden was transported to the Madison County Jail, where he now faces multiple serious charges.

These charges include Human Trafficking, Statutory Rape, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm. Should Bolden be granted bail, the amount is expected to exceed $500,000.
