A recent investigation initiated by a tip to the Internet Crimes Against Children tip line in Huntsville has led to the arrest of a 23-year-old man. Ty’Quavian Quentez Daniel, a resident of Huntsville, allegedly reached out to a 16-year-old individual from Humble, Texas, via Instagram. During their interactions, he solicited explicit images from the minor and subsequently attempted to extort the young person by threatening to release the photos unless additional images were provided.
As a result of these actions, Daniel has been charged with sexual extortion and electronic solicitation of a child. Authorities are continuing to look into the details of the case to ensure that all aspects are thoroughly examined.
