Reports have emerged detailing extensive damage, including homes reduced to rubble, overturned vehicles, and fallen trees obstructing roadways. One area that suffered particularly severe consequences was Selmar in McNairy County, which faced the brunt of a tornado accompanied by intense thunderstorms.
