Individual Taken into Custody Following Theft Incident at Fall River Market

A man from Lawrence County was apprehended following a reported theft that occurred on the evening of October 15 at the Fall River Market located on Fall River Road. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department received a call around 7:45 p.m. regarding a robbery in progress, prompting deputies to quickly respond to the scene. Upon reviewing security footage, investigators identified Phillip Wayne Willis as the individual who had stolen two packs of “7tabz” pills, which were valued at $60.

Subsequent to the incident, the empty packaging was discovered in a trash can situated near Willis’s vehicle. As a result of the theft, Willis was charged with theft of property and subsequently taken into custody at the Lawrence County Jail. Additionally, deputies noted that the store owner requested that Willis be trespassed from the property, further complicating his situation.
