Jeffery Dion Morton, 63, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center. Born on May 29th, 1961 in Loretto, TN, Jeff was the son of the late William Randolph Morton and Laura Marybell Buchanan Morton. He dedicated many years of his life to working at various manufacturing plants in the Lawrence County area, including Murray Ohio and Graphic Packaging. In his leisure time, Jeff found joy in outdoor work, watching races, tinkering with cars and motorcycles, listening to music, and cherishing moments with his beloved family and friends. He held strong to his Methodist Faith.
Jeff was preceded in death by his sisters, Debra Morton, Joy Morton, and Elizabeth Morton. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melanie Enochs Morton; daughter, Teeisha Morton-Jones (Michael); stepdaughter, Bionka Prince; siblings, Hedy Smith, Charles Morton (Kris), Randolph “Moose” Morton, Brenda Reed (Darrell), and Kathy Morton; grandchildren, Zia Jones; step-grandchildren, Payton Dillingham, Jeremiah Christian, and Skylynn Christian, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time to honor and celebrate the life of Jeffery Dion Morton.
